Minimum job duties

  • Under direct supervision, safely maintains cementing bulk equipment and the bulk plant.
  • Responsible for pulling bulk equipment to be loaded and used at wellsite.
  • Assists in loading bulk chemicals for jobs. Learns to calculate load out sheets and how to safely and accurately operate the bulk plant.
  • This is an entry level position and requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-1 years of experience of material handling or cementing operations.
  • Must be able to learn and apply all applicable HSE policies and procedures and demonstrate their application into his/her duties.
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
  • Basic reading comprehension, communication skills, and writing skills are required.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred
  • Some overnight travel

Required Qualifications

  • Class A CDL
  • Insurable MVR record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive oilfield experience with cementing operations
  • Ability to assist with other business units as needed; Cementing and Wireline
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain in 3-6 months
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to assist with routine maintenance and repairs.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Driving a vehicle to and from location; requires sitting for long periods of time
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs
  • Manual manipulation of valves and tools from a squatting position, often low to the ground
